The film follows a hopeless romantic who marries the love of her life through Syndication: a neurosurgical procedure that binds a third person—known as a syndicate—to a couple, reinforcing their marriage through a shared life force. When the couple falls out of love and the health of the syndicate begins to decline, our protagonist faces an impossible ethical dilemma: pursue divorce and effectively murder their marriage, or remain together to keep their syndicate alive.

The film was created across three states during the first year of the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child National Tour, collaborating with many members of the touring cast.
