RUBY MCCALL MCCLELLAN
Originally from Vernal Utah, McCall received her BA in Dance and a minor in Media Arts in her home state at Brigham Young University (BYU ‘21) . While a student, she performed and danced with BYU’s Contemporary Dance Theater, and the International Folk Dance Ensemble. Additionally while in college she performed at the Breaking Ground Festival in AZ, the Dumbo Dance Festival in NY, the American College Dance Association in UT and WA, the Titi Tabor Hungarian Folk Camp, and in Europe at the B12 festival, Impulstanz, Schoten Folk Festival, and the New Prague Dance Festival.
She currently performs with BYU’s Contemporary Dance Theater as well as teaches American Clogging as a student professor at BYU. Specializing in contemporary dance movement and screed dance, she currently creates and collaborates in the intermountain area.
